A word from Diya Abdo
Greetings,
There are millions of refugees worldwide, and their number is rapidly increasing. "Every Campus a Refuge" is one initiative among many which seeks to assist in the housing and resettlement of refugees. Inspired by the Pope’s call for every parish in Europe to host a refugee family, "Every Campus a Refuge" advocates for mobilizing colleges and universities resources to do the same. Our goal is to see every campus around the globe hosting a refugee family.
Teens 4 Refugees is a special organization because it drives to action the very group that has the most potential to create change and yet is largely unaware of the issues outside of their classrooms. Teens that are aware have the power to use their involvement and expertise in social media to spread the message about refugees and find ways to make a difference.
Join the movement. Become a Teen 4 Refugee and encourage campuses to become a refuge.
